 To Self Quarantine

 Shakespearean Sonnet

The whole world is well within my palm's reach,

All the time I so longed for is at hand,

Though I'm retired and unable to teach,

Though I'm free, I choose to be quarantined.

I have fellowship now with my Master,

Day in and day out as best as I can,

Time to meditate on my creator,

Ample time with my family to plan.

Rejuvenated — spirit and body,

Things are better more than ever for me,

I am in high spirits all through the day,

Not anxious about in my late sixty.

Though I miss the outings I used to have,

The stroll on the beach is enough to have.
